| Over
the past 2 years, I've set up a system that I go through for each new
painting I want to create. This particular way takes quite a while to
do but I believe it lets me paint as close to what I had imagined in my
head. There are 4 main steps I take for each painting.
The first step always take is to get the initial idea out of my head and onto paper so I don't forget it. I have many small notebooks laying around which I'll add my quick sketches into. I also write anything important about the painting which I should later paint in when I get more detailed.
