"Invisible Battle "

What it means to me
 

This 24"x30" oil painting shows an individual looking at himself in a mirror. The mirror doesn't show any of the dark or light tentacles trying to grab ahold of him. This picture represents the inner struggle we sometimes put ourselves through when trying to make a particular decision.

Finished Oil Painting


This is one of my favorite and most thought about images. The oil painting came out better than expected. I changed the colors from a blueish haze to this current green because I feel like it overpowered the main focus in front of it. You can see quite a bit of difference in the amount of detail from the rough sketch to the final oil painting.
