"Complicated"

What it means to me
 

The very first image created on this website. Painted about 2 weeks after my move to California from Ohio. Quite a big change. With $100 in my bank account and $200 worth of bills, I soon found out
how complicated things can get. Mix in meeting a new girl and things become very interesting. If this tree represents myself, then I don't appear to have any firm and solid roots yet. I've got the perfect place to be planted but I need everything I've got to reach for the things I need to survive. There are no leaves not only because they take forever to paint but also, I am just starting to grow on my own.
