What it means to me
 

Forget the dozen roses from the corner store that wilt after 3 days. This is the living flower that
is being grown directly from the giver's own veins. Instead of 3 days of enjoyment, how about a whole lifetime?

The picture to the very left is the original digital version of this painting. I sold prints of the green and pink version in San Francisco and I always felt it never looked quite right. I've since reworked it a little as well as changed the colors used. I'm now very pleased with the new color scheme and will be painting it with oils in the coming months. This used to be one of my least favorite paintings but the new one is really growing on me.
